Judith Heumann holds the postion of Senior Consultant to the World Bank's Global Partnership on Disability and Development. She has been a leader of the Independent Living Movement, has served as Assistant Secretary of Education under President Clinton, and is founder of the World Disablities Institute. We are honored to have her deliver the 2006 Keynote Address to begin Gender Week on a theme that reflects the ongoing challenge of social justice for all.
As with all Gender Week events, the keynote is free and the public is welcome.
