IREWG Student Scholarships PDF Print E-mail

Institute for Research & Education on Women & Gender Student Scholarships

The Gender Institute has established this scholarship to encourage University at Buffalo students majoring in any department or pursuing a graduate degree to develop a focus on the study of women and gender.  The one-time scholarship award is in the amount of $1000, and is disbursed at the start of the academic year.  The award winners for 2008-2009 are Salwan Abdul Sahib (Biophysics), Tina Kibbe (History), and Mili Pradhan (Media Studies).  More information will be available about 2009-2010 scholarships during the spring semester.
